Austin, TX — 9/8 — Boostlingo today announced the release of its new IVR Call Rating feature, which allows requesters to leave feedback on interpretation services directly after an IVR call.
With this update, once an interpreter leaves an IVR call, the requester is automatically prompted to provide a rating from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 being the highest. After leaving a star rating, the requester has the option to share additional comments by recording a short voice message. The system allows up to 30 seconds for feedback. If the requester chooses to leave comments, the audio is transcribed and stored in the call log. At any point, the requester may choose to hang up without leaving feedback.
This feature extends the call rating options already available on Boostlingo’s web and mobile platforms, ensuring that organizations can collect consistent quality data across all channels. With much of Boostlingo’s call volume occurring over IVR, this update gives customers a clearer picture of service quality and allows the Boostlingo Language Access Department to take faster action when negative feedback is received.
“Adding call ratings to IVR was a top request from our customers. It helps maintain the highest standards of interpretation service, while making it simple for requestors to share their experience right after the call,” said Brian D’Agostino, Chief Product Officer at Boostlingo.
The IVR Call Rating feature will be available to all customers in late August. Language Service Provider (LSP) administrators can enable it through the Boostlingo web portal, either globally or at the account level. Once enabled, rating prompts automatically begin after the interpreter leaves the call. Call ratings and comments do not add to the call’s billable duration.
