INTRODUCTION
Boostlingo, LLC, on behalf of itself and its wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively referred to herein as, “Boostlingo”), the Boostlingo platform, “we” or “us” and the associated Boostlingo websites, applications and services were formed to create the world’s first truly unified interpretation management system and interpretation communication and delivery platform. The privacy of all our partners, customers, end-users and stakeholders – your privacy – is something we take extremely seriously. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) details how we treat the personal information that we collect, what settings we provide for you to control how your information is used on Boostlingo, and how you can contact us with any questions or concerns. This Privacy Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website, Boostlingo.com or any of our affiliated websites under the Boostlingo brand (collectively referred to as the “Website”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. It also applies to all personal information we collect as part of our provision of services whether or not as part of the Website (together, “Services”) including, for example: (a) in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Boostlingo; (b) from our mobile and desktop applications you download and that reference this Privacy Policy; (c) when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Privacy Policy; and (d) through any other sources associated with Boostlingo. Except as specifically provided below, it does not apply to Boostlingo’s internal employee information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. By accessing or using the Services, you expressly agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, where required by applicable law (including GDPR), by providing you with advance notice (e.g., via email or a prominent notice on our Website) prior to the changes taking effect. Where a material change affects how we process personal data for which we rely on your consent as a lawful basis, we will seek fresh consent from you before applying the change. Your continued use of the Services after we make non-material changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
When describing our collection, use and disclosure of personal information, we may use terms such as “affiliate,” “service provider,” “subsidiary,” or “third party”.
- “Affiliates” are entities that own, are owned by, or are under common ownership with Boostlingo. We may share some information with affiliates for internal operations, and those affiliates will handle the information in the same manner as Boostlingo and be subject to this Privacy Policy.
- “Service Providers” are often vendors or other companies that provide services to us. Boostlingo enters into contracts with these service providers that limit their rights to sell personal information or use it for advertising. These contracts also restrict the use or disclosure of personal information in other ways, including requiring that personal information be maintained in a confidential and secure way.
- “Subsidiaries” are entities that are owned by or under common ownership of Boostlingo. We may share some information with subsidiaries for internal operations or delivery of Services, and those subsidiaries will handle the information in the same manner as Boostlingo and be subject to this Privacy Policy.
- “Third Parties” are other entities that are not Affiliates or Subsidiaries but may include Service Providers. These may be, for example, marketing or promotional partners who assist us with identifying potential audiences that could be interested in Boostlingo products or Services. Third Parties also include companies that provide us with information we need to perform certain functions like payment collection or identity confirmation. Governmental agencies may also be considered Third Parties when we are legally required to share information in response to valid legal process, such as a court order, subpoena, or regulatory audit, or when necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations. We will only share the minimum information necessary to comply with such legal requirements.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGIES
As you navigate through and interact with our Website and our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including: (a) details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website; and (b) information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
The information we collect automatically may include your IP address, device ID and other identifiers that may be considered personal information, as well as statistical data and other data that is not personal information, but that may be associated with personal information we collect or receive from Third Parties. All information that we associate with personal information is treated by us as personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include cookies, pixels, web beacons and other tracking technologies. Usage data is information about how you use our Services, such as our Website, and may be collected by us or our third-party providers automatically through “cookies,” log files and other tracking tools and technology embedded within our Services. This information may be collected over time and across devices. We use this information to administer and improve our Services and to develop additional products, features, and related functionalities.
A “cookie” is a piece of data stored on the user’s device containing information about the user. If a user rejects or deletes certain of the cookies, use of our Website may be adversely impacted, and functionality may be unavailable or limited in some areas of our Website. Cookies also enable us to track and aggregate data about the way you navigate our Services in some cases. By doing this, we can better target the interests of our users and enhance their experience on our Services.
We use cookies and other web-based data collection technologies to:
- Help you navigate our Website and apps;
- Personalize and provide a more convenient experience to you;
- Analyze which pages you visit, and which features you use;
- Determine pages you visit prior to and after visiting our Website to help us customize and target our advertising;
- Provide features such as social sharing widgets and videos;
- Market to you and measure advertising and promotional effectiveness;
- Improve our products and Services;
- Develop new features and enhanced functionalities for our Services;
- Assess which areas of our Website to remarket to you; and
- Provide content to you from our third-party partners.
When you visit our Website, we automatically gather server log file information including but not limited to IP address, browser type, referring and exit web pages, and your operating system. We do this to better understand how our Website operates, administer our Website and our technical solutions, and understand how our Website visitors navigate through our Website. We do not, however, link this information with customer accounts. For example, opting out of receiving cookies will not opt you out of receiving other marketing based on your account information.
We may further analyze information we gather online from you to improve the online experience, resources, and tools we provide to our users.
Boostlingo, our Service Providers or other Third Parties may use web logs or pixel tags, and/or other tracking technologies (sometimes referred to as “smart cookies”) on your computer or other device. Smart cookies are images embedded in a webpage or e-mail for the purpose of measuring and analyzing usage and activity. Our Website and Service Providers acting on our behalf, may use smart cookies to help us analyze usage and improve our functionality. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall personal information previously provided by a user.
There is no universally accepted standard for responding to “do not track” beacons, tags, or other such signals. Accordingly, Boostlingo does not currently respond to “do not track” browser signals or similar mechanisms. However, Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) is a browser-based signal that indicates you do not want your personal information sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required by applicable law, our Website will honor GPC signals. You also may receive tracking mechanisms from other parties prior to visiting our Website that will continue to track your activity while on our Website. Such data would be subject to the privacy policy of the other provider from whom you received the mechanism. We do not control or receive data from such mechanisms.
Some Boostlingo advertising at non-Boostlingo sites may be serviced by our Service Providers, who may use cookies to collect information about your visits to those sites. Information collected may include the pages visited, date and time, browser information and/or IP address. This information is gathered to help us customize and target our advertising to the needs and interests of our customers.
Information about how to opt-out of our interest-based or targeted advertising can be found in the section below titled “Your Rights and Choices about How We Use and Disclose Your Information.” For more information on how to manage advertising controls including tracking mechanisms, please visit FTC Online Tracking.
With the exception of cookies that are required for our Website to operate, you can choose which types of cookies our Website sets on your device by interacting with a cookie consent banner available on our sites or by clicking on Cookie Settings. Below are the categories of cookies we use:
- Required Cookies: These cookies provide service, application, and other essential functionalities of our Website and are strictly necessary for our Website to operate and cannot be switched off in our systems. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your personal data is not compliant with applicable law. We provide these options to you regardless of your location:
- The Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Disclosed, or Sold. You have the ability to request that Boostlingo disclose what personal information it collects, uses, discloses, and sells. This is called the “Right to Know”.

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your privacy rights conferred by consumer privacy laws in your jurisdiction. Boostlingo will not discriminate against any consumer because such person exercised any of the consumer’s rights under these privacy laws, including, but not limited to:
- denying goods or services;
- charging different prices or rates for goods and services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
- providing a different level or quality of goods or services; and
- suggesting that the consumer will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
We may, however, charge a different price or rate, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services, if that difference is directly related to the value provided by your data and only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This carve-out does not apply to individuals exercising rights under GDPR or UK data protection law, for whom we will not impose any financial penalty or detriment in connection with the exercise of data subject rights.
Authorized Agents. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will deny requests from agents that do not submit proof of authorization from you. To verify that an authorized agent has authority to act for you, we may require a copy of a power of attorney or require that you provide the authorized agent with written permission and verify your own identity with us.
EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
If you wish to exercise any of the rights set forth below, you may visit our Privacy Rights Request form or submit your request via email to [email protected]. You may also be able to exercise certain rights, such as updating and correcting your personal information, through your account. When you make a request, you can expect the following:
- We will verify your identity. Making a verifiable request does not require you to create any account with us but may require you to provide some information to enable us to carry out such verification. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
- We will confirm our receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. If you have not received a response within ten (10) business days after that, please send us an email at [email protected].
- We will respond to your request within the legally required time period. For individuals located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we will respond within one (1) month of receiving your request. We may extend this period by up to two (2) further months where necessary due to the complexity or number of requests, but we will inform you of such extension and the reasons for it within the initial one-month period. For all other users, we will respond within the applicable legally required timeframe. If we need additional time to respond to your request, we will explain why.
- If you elect to use certain Artificial Intelligence-enhanced or -enabled Services, we may not be able to fully delete your personal information or restrict further processing of your personal information that is collected or processed in connection with your use of Artificial Intelligence-enhanced or enabled Services prior to the date of a valid request. Please see the “Artificial Intelligence” section further below.
- In certain cases, a request may be denied. For example, if we cannot verify your identity or if providing you the information could create an unreasonable risk to someone’s security (for example, we do not want sensitive information disclosed inappropriately or improperly). As another example, we will also deny a request to delete your personal information if the law requires us to keep it (for example, if we are required to keep a record of services you have purchased in order to comply with tax reporting requirements). If we deny your request, we will explain the reasons for the denial and will comply with as much of your request as possible.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Certain Boostlingo Services may generate or analyze content through the use of Artificial Intelligence (defined further below) enabled or enhanced technologies, including without limitation, self-improving language and content models, machine learning software and algorithms, training improvement models, image recognition and categorization, and/or other functionalities as applicable (collectively, “Boostlingo AI”). “Artificial Intelligence” or “AI” refers to a machine-based system that can, for a given set of human-defined objectives, make predictions, recommendations, or decisions influencing real or virtual environments. Results, analyses, or summaries generated by such Boostlingo AI may be derived from the conversations, transcriptions, reports, images, records, content, and other material that has been furnished by you.
Artificial Intelligence-enabled or -enhanced mechanisms remain subject to ongoing evolution and refinement. Boostlingo remains committed to continuously improving our Services to increase accuracy and reliability. Artificial Intelligence technologies and functionalities remain dynamic in nature and, as such, use of Boostlingo AI may provide results or analyses to you that do not accurately reflect details concerning applicable people, places, or facts. Your reliance upon any information obtained or used by you from our Services, including Boostlingo AI, is solely at your own risk. Boostlingo is not responsible for the accuracy of any information or content provided to or sent by you. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information, data, or records that you send or receive through our Services.
Additionally, Boostlingo may partner with certain Third-Party LLMs (defined further below) to provide Boostlingo AI. “Third-Party LLMs” refers to Artificial Intelligence technologies, including but not limited to large language models, developed, operated, or provided by Third Parties that may be integrated with or otherwise support our Services such as Boostlingo AI.
Where Boostlingo AI produces outputs that constitute automated decision-making (including profiling) with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, as defined under applicable law including GDPR Article 22, we will: (i) provide meaningful information about the logic involved; (ii) disclose the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing; and (iii) ensure that individuals have the right to obtain human intervention, to express their point of view, and to contest the decision. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have questions about any specific automated decision-making that may affect you.
When you use Boostlingo AI, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Any results, outputs, or analyses from such Services may not always be 100% accurate. You should not rely on any such results, outputs, or analyses as a source of truth or 100% factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice or your own judgment.
- You must evaluate results, outputs, and analyses for accuracy, appropriateness, and relevancy before using or sharing any results, outputs, and/or analyses that may derive Boostlingo AI.
To the extent you use Boostlingo AI, you are solely responsible for providing any notices to, and obtaining any required consent or authorization from, individuals in connection with any Artificial Intelligence-enhanced or -enabled functionalities, including but not limited to such functionalities that may be capable of automated recording, transcription, or analysis, as may be required under applicable law. In using Boostlingo AI, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, and/or authorizations to use Boostlingo AI and that your use of Boostlingo AI complies with applicable law.
In the event you use Boostlingo AI, you specifically acknowledge and agree that Boostlingo and Third-Party LLMs as applicable may retain and continue to use, solely within its AI systems or Third-Party LLMs as may be applicable, any personal information that, prior to Boostlingo’s receipt of a deletion request in accordance with this Privacy Policy, has been: (i) irreversibly incorporated into training data; or (ii) used to generate Derived Models (defined further below) such that the personal information cannot be extracted, reverse-engineered, or otherwise reasonably reconstructed from the Derived Models. “Derived Models” refers to model parameters, weights, embeddings, and other learned representations resulting from training data. For clarity, the foregoing carve-out does not permit use of personal information in an overtly identifiable, non-aggregated form after receipt of a valid request for deletion.
BOOSTLINGO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF ACTIONS TAKEN OR NOT TAKEN BASED ON ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-ENABLED OR -ENHANCED SERVICES OR THE CONTENTS OF THE RESULTS, OUTPUTS, OR ANALYSES PREPARED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. BOOSTLINGO IS NOT ENGAGED IN A COMPREHENSIVE INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF THE SUBSTANCE OR ADEQUACY OF ANY RESULTS, OUTPUTS, OR ANALYSES THAT MAY BE GENERATED OR DERIVED IN CONNECTION WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-ENHANCED OR -ENABLED BOOSTLINGO SERVICES.
DATA SECURITY
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions and other sensitive information will be encrypted using secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Boostlingo follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once Boostlingo receives it.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. Users should exercise caution when transmitting personal information online.
DATA RETENTION
Boostlingo will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services, as may otherwise be required by applicable law, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy (see the “Artificial Intelligence” section further above). The criteria we use to determine retention periods include: (i) the duration of our ongoing relationship with you; (ii) any legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g., tax, accounting, or regulatory retention requirements); (iii) the statute of limitations under applicable law; and (iv) the existence of any dispute, claim, or regulatory inquiry. If you no longer want Boostlingo to use your information to provide you Services, you may terminate the Services and close your account or request your data be deleted by reaching out to [email protected].
