Interpreter Qualifications and Vetting

Excellence Through Rigorous Standards
Boostlingo partners with language service providers who demonstrate a strong commitment to working with qualified language professionals. In addition to documented proof of language proficiency for all working languages and a commitment to adhering to the Boostlingo Code of Conduct for Interpreters, we uphold the following qualification standards per specialization:

  • Medical Interpreters: Minimum of three years of medical interpreting experience, 40 hours of medical interpreter training, and current HIPAA and Fraud, Waste and Abuse training renewed annually 
  • Legal Interpreters: Minimum of three years of legal interpretation experience with proof of legal interpreter training 
  • Court Interpreters: Minimum three years of legal interpretation experience with proven courtroom experience (regional/national certification preferred) 
  • ASL Interpreters: National certification through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or certification through the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) 

Our thorough vetting process includes thorough review and verification of all documentation, ensuring each interpreter meets established standards. This approach guarantees that only qualified professionals represent the Boostlingo Hub network.

  • Client Feedback Integration: All client feedback receives immediate attention through our dedicated quality assurance form, and we encourage the use of the in-platform interpreter ratings 
  • Proactive Issue Resolution: The Quality Assurance team investigates each reported incident promptly, implementing corrective actions when needed and providing a full resolution within 2 business days
