Interpreter Qualifications and Vetting
Excellence Through Rigorous Standards
Boostlingo partners with language service providers who demonstrate a strong commitment to working with qualified language professionals. In addition to documented proof of language proficiency for all working languages and a commitment to adhering to the Boostlingo Code of Conduct for Interpreters, we uphold the following qualification standards per specialization:
- Medical Interpreters: Minimum of three years of medical interpreting experience, 40 hours of medical interpreter training, and current HIPAA and Fraud, Waste and Abuse training renewed annuallyÂ
- Legal Interpreters: Minimum of three years of legal interpretation experience with proof of legal interpreter trainingÂ
- Court Interpreters: Minimum three years of legal interpretation experience with proven courtroom experience (regional/national certification preferred)Â
- ASL Interpreters: National certification through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or certification through the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI)Â
