A New Look. The Same Boostlingo.
Boostlingo is getting a refreshed design: clearer navigation, calmer pages, and details that open beside your work instead of on top of it. This page walks through exactly what moves where, so nothing takes you by surprise.
Switch anytime
Throughout September you can turn the new look on or off yourself, as often as you like. The switch lives right in the app.
Your data doesn't change
Appointments, call logs, invoices, reports, rates, settings: every record is identical in both views. This is a new coat of paint, not a move.
Everything is still here
No feature was removed. Some things have clearer names and better homes. This page shows you where they went.
A Sidebar You Can Read.
The classic app used a menu of five unlabeled icons, with most destinations tucked into rows of tabs inside each section. The new sidebar names every destination (Home, On Demand, Appointments, Reports, Invoices, Accounts, Interpreters) and adds a search box so you can jump anywhere by typing. The look-and-feel switch itself now lives at the bottom of the sidebar with a clear on/off badge, next to a new Feedback button.
Details Open Beside Your List.
In the classic app, opening an account, member, or invoice launched a viewer that took over the entire screen: your list disappeared behind it. In the new look, the record slides in as a panel next to the list. You keep your place, your filters, and your scroll position; the panel can be resized, expanded to full screen, or closed without losing anything. The same tabs you know (Overview, Info, Logs, Calendar, Rates, and the rest) are all inside the panel.
Reports Open Where You Are.
Viewing a report used to launch a separate browser tab, pulling you out of the app entirely. Now a report opens in a panel right beside your report list: compare, edit, close, and open the next one without ever leaving the page. A dedicated full-page view is still there when you want to print.
One Table, One Filter Bar, Everywhere.
Every list used to bring its own row of filter dropdowns stretched across the top of the page. In the new look, all lists share a single pattern: quick status tabs, one Filters button that shows how many filters are active, a Columns chooser, and search, with one click to clear everything. Save the filter and column setup you use most as a view, and it's waiting for you next time. Tables gained clearer sorting, status chips you can read at a glance, and keyboard navigation, and very large lists now load page by page so they stay fast.
A Calendar That Starts With Your Day.
Both looks have a calendar. The old one drew every day from midnight to midnight, squeezing real appointments into thin slivers; the new one is far more efficient with the space, showing a compact working day by default (and widening automatically when a booking falls outside it) so more appointments are in view at once. Flexible filtering, search, and the tools you use most are at your fingertips, new Day, Week, Month, and List views make jumping around easy, and the calendar keeps getting more customizable, so it shows what matters to you. Appointments open in a slide-out detail panel, making it quick to find the right booking and make changes without losing your place. Batch editing is coming here soon, too.
Settings Sorted Into a Menu.
Configuration used to hide behind two stacked rows of tabs (a top row of sections and a second row inside each) above long, dense pages. Now the sidebar itself becomes a settings menu with clear groups (My Account, Policies, Administration) and a one-click way back Home. Can't find what you're looking for? Search and jump straight to the page. Each settings page is a tidy stack of cards with obvious edit actions and toggles. Branding got extra attention: four distinct logo slots (main, sign-in, email, and favicon), each with cropping and a live preview.
A Home That Leads With Your Numbers.
The old dashboard floated charts and link lists straight onto the page. The new Home organizes everything into cards: a statistics strip with your calls, ratings, appointments, and earnings up top, an appointments-needing-attention card with its own table, and a "what's changed" card while the new look rolls out. Quick Start follows the same card system, so help articles, videos, and community links each have a clear home.
Flip Between Looks Whenever You Want.
Through September the choice is yours, and it's personal to you: switching won't change what your teammates see.
From the classic look
Use the Enable new look and feel switch in the header bar at the top of the app, then confirm. The page refreshes into the new design in a few seconds.
From the new look
Use New Look & Feel near the bottom of the sidebar. The badge shows whether it's on or off. Turn it off the same way, anytime, and you're back to classic.
Quieter Improvements, Along for the Ride.
The new experience gets better every week, and your feedback steers it. We're collecting it right in the app: share what you're trying to do and how we can improve, straight from the Feedback button in the sidebar.
Better with a keyboard and screen reader
A dedicated accessibility pass means buttons announce their state, loading and status messages are read aloud, focus lands in the right place when panels open and close, and page structure stays correct for assistive technology.
Faster on big lists
Interpreter and option pickers now search as you type and load results in pages instead of fetching everything up front, so even organizations with thousands of records get a picker that opens instantly.
A calmer calendar
Hover previews wait a beat before appearing and never flicker as you scan across a busy day. Overlapping appointments open in a list on click and stay open until you dismiss them, reliable with a mouse, keyboard, or screen reader.
Fixes land everywhere at once
Every rebuilt screen shares one set of components. When a table, filter, or dialog improves, that improvement shows up across the whole product, not one page at a time.
What's Not Changing.
- Your data. Appointments, call logs, invoices, reports, rates, users: identical records in both views.
- Your numbers. Totals, rates, and invoice amounts are the same figures, whichever look you're in.
- Your access. Sign-in, roles, and permissions carry over exactly as they are.
- Your integrations. Connections such as QuickBooks keep working untouched.
Questions We're Hearing.
Do I have to switch right away?
No. Throughout September you can move between the classic and new looks as often as you like, from inside the app, with no help from support needed.
Will switching move or change any of my data?
No. Nothing is migrated or converted. Both looks read the very same records, so you can switch back and forth and see the same appointments, logs, and invoices every time.
Does my whole organization switch when I do?
No. The choice applies to you. Your organization can set a default for everyone, but your personal choice always wins, and it follows your sign-in rather than a shared computer.
What if something doesn't look right?
Use the Feedback button in the new sidebar to tell us directly, then switch back to the classic look in the meantime. Nothing is lost by toggling.
What happens after September?
The new look is on track to become the standard Boostlingo experience. We'll communicate timing well before anything changes, and your data and settings carry forward automatically.
Six New Features, Built in the New Experience.
Boostlingo Translate, Group Accounts, Bulk Appointment Import, Rate Policies, and more arrive alongside the new design.
Six New Features. Where Each One Stands.
Six capabilities are arriving across the new experience, from document translation to enterprise sign-on. Some are available today, one is open for pilot right now, and the rest land when the new look and feel finishes rolling out. We're showing you all six early so you have time to ask questions, plan training, and help shape the ones still in development.
You're seeing this early on purpose
We share features before they reach every account so you have time to ask questions, plan training, and tell us what's missing. Nothing here should be a surprise the day it turns on.
Every feature says where it stands
Each one below is labeled available now, open for pilot, or arriving with the full rollout. No guessing about what your team can use today.
Pilots are open to anyone
Pilot programs aren't invite-only. Join one and you'll use the feature early, and your feedback shapes it before general release. Ask your account contact to sign you up.

With the full rolloutBoostlingo Translate.
Request, track, and manage document translations from the same dashboard you already use for interpretation. No more starting a translation project by email: upload your files, choose your languages, and follow the whole job through to finished, downloadable documents.
- Quotes in-app. Most common file types are quoted automatically; less common formats get a personal quote from our team. Either way, you approve the price before any work begins.
- Status at a glance. Every job lives in a My Jobs list with filtering, search, and a full status timeline.
- Secure delivery. Finished files come back through secure, time-limited download links.
- Conversation attached to the job. A built-in chat keeps every question with its project instead of buried in your inbox.
Availability: Boostlingo Translate is in pilot now, and the pilot is open to any customer who wants in. Pilot customers get access first and their feedback shapes the product before general release. Ask your account contact to add you.
Good to know: requests already in progress with our team by email continue exactly as they are. Nothing is migrated or interrupted.
Group Accounts.
Organize related accounts into named groups that match how your organization is actually structured: departments, campuses, regional offices, or whatever makes sense for you. Grouping is entirely optional, and nothing about an account changes just because it joins a group.
- Create a group with just a name, then choose which existing accounts belong to it.
- Filter your Accounts list by group (or by ungrouped) with a new Groups panel and column.
- Consolidate billing. Designate one member as the group's billing account, and generate one consolidated invoice across the group with a per-member breakdown.
- Keep an audit trail. Group changes and membership moves are logged with who did what.
Availability: Group Accounts arrives once the new look and feel is fully deployed and the toggle goes away. Want it sooner? Your account team can turn off the old look for your account, which unlocks it early.
Good to know: an account can belong to one group at a time, and ungrouped accounts keep working exactly as they do today. No new roles or permissions to configure.
Bulk Appointment Import.
Create or update appointments by the hundreds or thousands instead of one at a time. Upload a CSV of up to 5,000 rows and a guided wizard walks you through mapping your columns, verifying every row, and committing the batch, with a results summary and audit trail at the end.
- Start from a template. Download a ready-to-fill CSV template (or a worked example) built from your own account's fields, or map the columns of a file you already have. Your mapping is saved for next time.
- Nothing is written until you've reviewed it. Every row is checked first; problems are flagged with specific reasons, and one correction can be applied across many rows at once.
- One bad row never sinks the batch. Valid rows commit; problem rows come back for fixing or skipping.
- Updates, not duplicates. Re-submit a row with the same reference ID to update the existing appointment.
- One summary, not a notification storm. A completed batch sends a single digest instead of a push for every appointment.
Availability: live in the new look and feel this week. No sign-up needed.
Good to know: imported appointments arrive unassigned and go through your normal broadcast and assignment flow. Accounts, requestors, and consumer types must already exist; the import matches to existing records rather than creating new ones.
Rate Policies.
Set up your pricing once and apply it at scale. Rate Policies replaces one-off, account-by-account rate configuration with named, versioned policies made of rate rules, which you assign in bulk to accounts, groups, or interpreters, or set as the default for everyone.
- Build once, assign broadly. One published policy can cover many accounts, account groups, or interpreters at once.
- Effective dates and transitions. Policies can have start and end dates, with a successor policy that takes over automatically.
- Automatic re-pricing. Publish a change and affected, not-yet-invoiced appointments are re-priced for you.
- A defensible history. Every version is kept, every change is logged, and every invoice records exactly which policy priced it.
- No silent gaps. Coverage alerts flag accounts or interpreters with nothing priced before it becomes a billing surprise.
Availability: Rate Policies arrives once the new look and feel is fully deployed. Ask your account team about turning off the old look for your account to get it early.
Good to know: nothing changes to your current rates until you publish and assign a policy. Your existing configuration keeps pricing exactly as it does today.
Enterprise Single Sign-On.
Your team can now sign in to Boostlingo through your organization's own identity provider, such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or Google Workspace, instead of a separate Boostlingo password. Your IT department's authentication and access policies apply to Boostlingo the same way they do to your other corporate apps.
- Works with what you have. Any SAML 2.0 identity provider your IT team already runs.
- Automatic routing. Users are sent to your organization's sign-in page based on their email domain. They never have to choose.
- Automatic setup for new users. New requestors are created the first time they sign in; existing users are matched by email, never duplicated.
- Your password policy, your call. Keep Boostlingo passwords as a fallback, block them reversibly, or retire them entirely.
Availability: generally available today, in both the classic and the new look.
Good to know: setup is handled with your Boostlingo account team. Send them your identity provider details to get started, and if your team uses the mobile app, make sure it's up to date before your cutover.
Qualifications.
Track interpreter credentials (certifications, clearances, trainings) inside Boostlingo instead of in a spreadsheet, attach requirements to appointments, and let assignment enforce them automatically. Only interpreters who hold every required qualification can be booked onto an appointment that requires them.
- Your own catalog. Define the qualifications your organization requires, with archive and restore instead of deletion.
- Records with proof. Admins record what each interpreter holds, with supporting documents attached. Interpreters can view their own records.
- Requirements on the appointment. Mark a qualification required or optional right on the appointment form.
- Enforced on every path. Manual assignment, broadcast, and auto-confirm all check the same requirements, so nothing slips through a side door.
- A dedicated audit trail. Catalog changes, record updates, and requirement changes are all logged for compliance review.
Availability: Qualifications arrives once the new look and feel is fully deployed. Turning off the old look for your account is the way to get it early. Talk to your account team.
Good to know: in this first release, administrators manage interpreter records, and enforcement applies to scheduled appointments. If a reschedule affects someone already assigned, staff get an explicit, logged keep-or-remove choice, never a silent change.
